bridging intelligences
Researchers, NGOs, communities, development organizations - AI can amplify your impact, free your teams, and transform the way you work. From the ground, not from Silicon Valley.
The vision
The world is changing fast. Funding landscapes shift, expectations grow, tools multiply. It's a challenge - but above all, it's an immense opportunity for those who know how to seize it.
AI is reshaping how we write, analyze, and decide. Those who understand it and master it will multiply their impact. Not by replacing people - by freeing them.
You're not behind. You're right on time.

The journey
Demystify AI. Understand what it does, what it doesn't, and where it can take you.
Proposals, reports, publications - your voice, amplified.
Analysis, dashboards, M&E - your data has stories to tell.
Transcription, coding, synthesis - from the field to insight, without losing the nuance.
Planning, budgeting, coordination - free up time for what truly matters.
Logical frameworks, theory of change, impact pathways, results chains - AI powering the tools you already use. Design, refine, and challenge your strategic frameworks.
Create applications, automations, custom systems - even without being a developer. AI as your co-builder.
Social media, newsletters, storytelling - amplify your voice and your communities' with AI.
From idea to live site. AI accelerates design, content, deployment. Your showcase, your way.
Keep humans in charge. Bias, data, responsibility - use AI with intention.
From the ground
Not hypothetical scenarios. Real uses, in my projects, with my teams, today.
In Senegal, we use AI to analyze satellite imagery, cross-reference farmer knowledge with scientific literature, and support communities through agricultural transitions. AI doesn't invent knowledge - it amplifies what already exists in the fields.
Accounting, financial reports, multi-donor project tracking - I've built AI tools that do in minutes what used to take days. My team focuses on the field, not paperwork.
Interview transcription in local languages, qualitative coding, literature reviews, proposal writing. AI doesn't replace the researcher - it gives them back time to think.
Standard ERPs and software impose their processes on you. We do the opposite: we build tools that fit your reality, your mission, your constraints. No checkboxes that mean nothing. AI finally makes it possible to create tailored systems that serve the people doing the work.
Development aid has often failed because it listened poorly. AI gives us the means to listen better - processing voices, languages, and data that no one took the time to analyze. The tool at the service of people, not the other way around.
The community
saidimu.ai is also a community of practitioners - researchers, NGO leaders, consultants, entrepreneurs - sharing experiences, tools, and questions about AI for sustainable development.

Who I am
I spent 20 years in the field - from the Sahel to Myanmar, from Kenya to the Caribbean. Humanitarian consultant, researcher, program director. I've coordinated teams of 50 and managed multi-million dollar projects.
OneMap Myanmar: CHF 12 million, a national land governance program. Wyss Academy in Kenya: CHF 200 million endowment. I've seen from the inside how the big development machines work - and don't work.
Then I founded CREATES in Senegal. A research-action center, from scratch, that grew to USD 750,000 per year in 18 months. With a handful of people and a lot of resourcefulness.
The real turning point? AI. Today, I build tools on my own that would have required entire teams two years ago. Financial management platforms, M&E systems, multilingual chatbots, satellite image analysis. What took months now takes days.
I'm not a tech guru. I'm someone from the field who figured out how AI can transform the way we work. And I want to share that.
saidimu - "the one who helps" in Swahili. A name given to me by Titoh Star, a young Kenyan singer, while I was traveling through East Africa with my mobile studio. It stuck.
